Sneak Peeks!

We have been pretty quiet for the past few months but i can assure you that there's a very good reason for that. Here's what has been keeping us locked in the office coding day & night.

AIS Cube is proud to release pre-launch sneak peeks of our latest 32bit series software & hardware line-up, this series is far superior to its predecessor, the FlamingICE Series, in almost everything, speed, memory, number crunching abilities... and is aptly named the BlazingCore Series.

The BlazingCore series is our new 32bit line of products with our BCore Operating System loaded into the chip. Coding is currently done using the VB.NET language, with the C#.NET language to follow in the upcoming versions. The BCore IDE will accept a mixture of these languages in a single project. A full comparison will be available during the official launch post.

So here's the hardware line-up; we have a general purpose 64/100pin microcontroller board based on the PIC32 chip. An audio board with audio in/out for connecting to speakers/headphones and microphones, as well as support for an SD Card.  A 2.83" OLED Display(yay to new technology, brilliant colours, extremely wide viewing angle, available with/ without a touchscreen) and an interfacing board.

And of course, to handle these beauties, we have coded from ground up BlazingCore IDE, an entirely new IDE with ready libraries for most major communication protocols in external devices/ peripherals, the 2.83" OLED Display, and memory management tools for all that memory(EEProm/Flash/SD).

And that's about it for the sneak peek images. We hope that got you excited. We definitely are. More details coming up in the official launch post.

Should you like to pre-order yours, or have questions and can't wait for the official launch date, email us or post a thread in the forum and we'll get back to you within 48 hours.=)

Updates!

We have recently added 2 new tutorials to our Resource Page.

Interfacing a Servo Motor

If you ever found yourself wondering how you could control servo motors using the FIDE, well, now you can.

EBlue + FIDE

We also cover using the EBlue Bluetooth Module, on the PC and on the FIDE. So if you wanna add peer-to-peer wireless communication to your projects, now is the time.

We are slowly working to build our resource page up. So you can look forward to tutorials and resource articles of all kinds coming your way soon.

Want to see a tutorial for interfacing the FI Boards to a particular device? Leave a comment at the forums or email us! We'll be glad to respond.

So we've got 3 things to cheer about.

 1) New Tutorial!

That's right, you heard us. We now have a tutorial on interfacing a 4x3 Matrix Keypad to our FlamingICE Microcontrollers. So if you've got any of those keypads lying around, grab one and give it a shot at using it for your projects. That's one more tutorial added to our resource page. Next up! GPS interfacing for all those who have an obsession to track anything and everything, or add it to your next autonomous navigation project. Coming soon.

 2) FIDE 2.1 PATCH!

Right, so here's a patch for the data comm. tool. The tool should work like a charm with full hexadecimal, decimal and ascii data representations after the patch. You will need to have FIDE 2.1 already installed.

 3) FIDE Language Reference Updated!

We know we told you that FIDE now supports the use of user-defined structures, but we never got round to the whole low down of how you can start using it even though it was just like how you would use it in Visual Studio. So! An entire page (more actually) has been dedicated to how you can use structures in FIDE with VB.NET syntax. Update your copy of the reference today. Download or view it online.  More documentations over at the downloads section.
