Serial Communication- Making It Wireless

If you have read Part I of the Serial Communication Tutorial, this will be a breeze. In fact, this will be a very short article as making your serial communication wireless with the eBlue module is too easy. No change in code. All you need is a pair of the eBlue modules and make sure you use the proper connecter that comes with the eBlue modules.

From the eBlue datasheet -
"modules are meant to be used as drop-in replacements for wired serial connections"

In other words, it's an RS232 bridge.

All you need to do is to replace the wire with the eBlue modules and you are done.

For those of us who needs our wireless working like yesterday, hook it up as shown below (I got it straight from the datasheet).

 

Run the example code in Part I and expect the same result.
